Message What year/model?

I have done extensixe work on Jeeps, numerious rebuilds etc. So far the only jeep that I know of to use true CV axles is the Liberty.

I do not know if the liberity uses a timing belt or chain. I also do not know if the v8s use a timing chain or belt.

If she has either the 4cyl or 6cyl(inline that is) then it uses a timing chain, and shouldn't need to be replaced. The older Jeeps that have the various v-6s all use timing chains.
